Responsibilities:
Assist in the
development of the Chinese language learning curriculum at our
Mandarin Chinese school in Beijing China. Develop systems of accountability and tracking for the
monitoring of Chinese language acquisition process. Assist
with the initial screening, selection, and training of personal
Chinese language tutors. Assist in the development of
continuing education programs for Chinese teachers and tutors.
Assist in developing and refining Chinese learning software, books, and materials.
Qualifications:
The ideal
candidate will possess a degree (preferably a Masters) in applied
linguistics and possess at least an intermediate level of Chinese.
Someone who is self-taught is preferred. The ideal candidate
will have a good sense of innovation and system design regarding the
development of Chinese learning materials. A focus on
prioritization and usefulness of Chinese learning materials is very important.
Computer literate with wide-ranging familiarity with Chinese
learning programs and software. Familiarity with or ability to
learn Chinese character input systems and data manipulation.
Database and programming experience is a plus, as well as is
experience with lexical scanners and lexical databases. A
minor in business or other similar business background is helpful.
Salary:
Appropriate
salary based on experience, Chinese speaking ability, aptitude, and
performance. Salary would be localized for Beijing, China.

Responsibilities:
The primary
responsibility of this role would be to manage all day-to-day
aspects of our personal Chinese tutors at our Mandarin Chinese school
in Beijing China. (For information about

the initial screening, selection, and training of personal Chinese
language tutors. Work with the program developer to integrate
Chinese tutors' efforts with those of the Chinese language
curriculum. Develop systems of accountability and tracking to
monitor the progress of Chinese learner/Chinese tutor teams. Assist
in the development of continuing education programs for Chinese
tutors. May be asked to assist in the training of local
Chinese people as part of our external classroom approach.

resources, management, accounting / auditing, or workforce
measurement and design and possess at least an intermediate level of
Chinese. Someone who is self-taught is preferred. The
ideal candidate will have a good sense of training and
accountability. A focus on prioritization and usefulness of

wide-ranging familiarity with Chinese learning programs and
software. Familiarity with and ability to learn Chinese
character input systems. The ability to train Chinese tutors
to use various software tools and other Chinese learning materials
for curriculum/tutor integration. The ability to develop
accountability systems for monitoring individual tutors and methods
then analyze and determine which are most productive. Able to
develop systems of quality control that ensures measurable and
consistent levels of Chinese language acquisition from our tutors.
